The Sustainable Building Assessment Tool (SBAT) Residential supports the development of sustainable residential built environments. SBAT Residential consists of a tool which is an Excel-based tool. Target setting and assessments are completed by opening the tool and accessing worksheets via tags at the bottom of the page. Assessments require good access to data about the building and the location. Measurements and data used in the SBAT must be accurate for assessments to be useful and capable of validation. The SBAT report is indicated below.
The SBAT Manual describes assessment criteria and explains how building performance can be measured and data entered in the tool. It also provides submission requirements should users of the tool wish to have their self-assessments validated. A copy of the manual cover is indicated below.
